The Krugerrand gold coin is the world’s first modern bullion investment coin. It was first minted in 1967. One side of the coin features Paul Kruger, a former President of the Republic of South Africa and the namesake of the coin. The other side displays a springbok antelope, a national symbol of South Africa. The coin’s characteristic reddish color comes from the copper alloy added to the one ounce of gold. A unique feature of the Krugerrand is that it does not have a stamped face value. These characteristics make the coin highly recognizable on the international market.
The coins are minted by Rand Refinery. The refinery was founded in South Africa in 1920. It is one of the world’s most important precious metal refineries and holds the exclusive right to mint the Krugerrand. The company follows strict ethical and sustainable sourcing policies. Rand Refinery is also one of five global referees supporting the LBMA in maintaining its standards.

After receipt of payment, the items are immediately assembled and packed on camera. Afterwards the dispatch takes place as insured package. We will send you a mail upon receipt of payment.
