1 Pound Gold Sovereign Memorial
The Sovereign's commemorative edition honors the legacy of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the first sovereign coin with the coin portrait of King Charles III. In this special edition, the reverse shows the Queen's Royal Coat of Arms, which consists of a lion with a crown, a unicorn and a shield. The English sovereign gold coin can look back on a long tradition: first minted in 1489 under King Henry VII, this coin has since depicted many rulers on the motif side. Since then, the obverse has adorned the respective regent or monarch, while the reverse usually shows the battle scene between St. Georges and the dragon. The coin, issued by the Royal Mint with a fineness of 917/1000, is available in denominations of 1 pound with 7.32 grams (or 1/2 pound with 3.66 grams) of fine gold. The Sovereign gold coin is still well known around the world today, due to the history of England with its many colonies. In addition, the coin still has the function of official tender and is a very popular alternative to the typical bullion coins.

After receipt of payment, the items are immediately assembled and packed on camera. Afterwards the dispatch takes place as insured package. We will send you a mail upon receipt of payment. Another mail will be sent to you upon shipment with the shipment number/tracking number. Please check that the shipment is sent directly to you.
